Caribou in Denali National Park
Alaska is such a unique destination! I have been fortunate enough to experience the beautiful and unique area firsthand.
I experienced Alaska and the Yukon with Holland America. I loved my balcony suite as I watched the icebergs and whales from my deck. The landscape was beyond belief.
We then disembarked in Skagway and followed the Yukon trail to Dawson City. We enjoyed steamboats, trains, and air. We were able to pan for GOLD! We visited an Athabascan (or Tlingit) village and learned how they survived in such rugged territory. I think the trains were my most favorite.
We made our way back to Anchorage with a couple of nights in Denali. We saw caribou, a golden eagle, Dahl sheep, and even a grizzly bear with her cub! At one of the rest stops I even ran across an arctic ground squirrel.It was one of the best vacations ever! I have studied Alaska extensively and would love to help you with your Alaskan Vacation!
